Our Personal Stories

Chanyoung Kang
Neurodiversity changed my life and my sense of self. My sense of self became more positive. Also, I discovered countless opportunities for my future career. I read several articles about neurodiversity while I was surfing the net. Then, I found the SNP-REACH and applied for the program. There, I met this wonderful team that I collaborate with. I hope that the users of our website will benefit from our services. Have a great day!

Having grown up around my neurodiverse cousins and family members, I witnessed firsthand how a lack of neurodiversity advocacy negatively impacted neurodiverse individuals in my everyday life. So, I began my journey by volunteering for the ACEing Autism tennis program which allowed autistic children to learn tennis from high school buddies. Since then, I have continued to develop my advocacy through founding my own similar tennis program and participating in this camp, where I helped create F.I.N.D.!
